Good Samaritan Clinics
The Good Samaritan Clinics provide care for medically indigent adults, including the homeless and those who cannot afford insurance. No one pays; no one gets paid.
Motivated by the love of Christ, and in obedience to His command to serve the poor, the Good Samaritan Clinic exists to provide primary medical and dental care to the uninsured of the community through volunteer providers.
The vision for Good Samaritan Clinic originated in 2006 with Oasis Senior Pastor John Joslin (who is also a registered nurse), Cathy Puhr (a nurse practitioner), and Father Tom Connery of St Peter's Catholic Church. With God's miraculous blessings and the addition of many committed volunteers and supporters, the clinic opened its doors in October 2007.
Two years later, Good Samaritan Dental Clinic opened in Orange City. This clinic operates on the same principles as the health clinic. From day one, the demand has exceeded capacity.
Oasis continues to be an active supporter of the clinics, both financially and with volunteers.
If you have a need for free medical or dental services, wish to volunteer, support, or to simply learn more about the clinics, please visit the Good Samaritan Clinic website or call their office at 386-738-6990.
