Tools To Teachers was launched by Oasis in response to a growing need in our community. With all the budget cuts, teachers simply do not have the funds necessary to provide the basic supplies needed to teach their students. Public school teachers in our community typically spend hundreds of dollars out of their own pockets to buy crayons, pencils, photocopy paper, scissors, glue, and other classroom essentials.
Oasis partners with businesses and members of our community to collect donated school supplies. The major collection drive takes place just prior to the beginning of the school year; however, supplies are gratefully accepted all year long.
Your support of our entire school community has been our saving grace this year. It has been a year of ups and downs, but with your support, we have felt that our community outside of school really does care and supports us. I look forward to your emotional, financial, and spiritual help again next year.
